Paris Plages makes Paris the perfect holiday destination

Paris Plages, the summer operation dreamt up by the city of Paris in 2002, is celebrating its 11^th anniversary this year. From 20^th July to 19^th August, the banks of the Seine and its canals will be given over to an array of leisure activities, games areas and water sports for all ages.

Paris Plages: the atmosphere of a seaside resort invading the capital

This year, visitors will be able to make the most of several new elements, such as crazy golf on the Quai de Seine, a mountain bike trail, and concerts organised at La Rotonde with the metro’s best musicians. A marina, especially created for Paris Plages, will invite young and old alike to discover the joys of boating, rowing or canoeing…before relaxing on a long sandy beach!
