A fitting venue for this spectacular show, the Petit Palais was built for the famous Universal Exhibition of 1900 to a design by acclaimed architect Charles Girault. As the doors opened on the fabulous world fair, crowds flocked to the Petit Palais to celebrate the achievements of the previous century and usher in an exciting new era.
